Firefox 4

I decided to upgrade to Firefox 4 because it claimed it was up to 6 times faster. I asked a friend who upgraded and they agreed that it was faster. I checked to make sure my beloved add ons wouldn't break and the important ones wouldn't, so I upgraded.

The layout is a bit weird but you can drag things all over the place to make it look how you want. Unfortunately, I have not found that it is 6 times faster. I have found that it's actually SLOWER! Pages are taking longer to load and I'm getting strange slow downs and partial freezes. It's very frustrating! Don't promise me things that you can't deliver Firefox!

Aww that sucks. :( I don't think I'll be upgrading any time soon, I've heard good things about Firefox 4 but I've also heard some pretty bad things... :/

Yeah. Hopefully, there'll be a point something or other update that will take care of this. It's driving me nuts.

I would just switch to Chrome... I did when Firefox 3 was having a problem with video playback... I have been beta testing 4 and other than the fact that it mostly looks like Opera, I haven't seen a reason to switch back.

I miss my Firefox addons and Widgets, but open-source just can't beat Google... though I hold out hope that Firefox will win me back one day... I still <3 it.

I use Chrome. I almost always have both Firefox and Chrome open. They both have different strengths for me so I use them both for different things.

I can't use Chrome to watch videos on youtube because the adblock on Chrome won't block the ads. =/ And I wasn't impressed with Chrome's journal log in thingy. I use Firefox's lj login to log into three different sites and five or six different accounts. But Chrome has the better manga reading extension by far.
