Channeling the Dead....Sorta

You know how something happens and you just can't look away? Yeah, doing that now.
Once upon a time, there was a slash writer named
thamiris. I didn't know her, but I'd read stuff she wrote. She was one of those people you just encountered if you were in slash so many knew of her. She died of breast cancer in '07 and lots of people were sad.
Fast Forward
There's this guy called
boyan_fraser who has apparently decided that no one will notice he's plagiarized the words of a dead woman. Not only has he been copying her fiction, but he's been copying her entire journal! That's right, from daily life posts to fandom commentary, hell, even down to his replies to other people! He's taken them all from
thamiris' mouth! WTF person?! WTF!!
I'm watching the situation roll downhill with the momentum of a speeding train here and watching the angry comments added by the moment over here. with sick morbid fascination. What kind of sick attention seeking fuck do you have to be to lift that much material from a woman who isn't even around to defend herself anymore?
Update
The LJ team is claiming that they can't do anything about the situation unless a family member comes forward, but Thamaris was very careful to keep fandom and real life separate and that simply isn't possible without disrespecting her wishes.
The thief, after being flamed to hell and back, has started to lock and/or delete his posts.
He has also gone on to claim that he knew Thamaris (whom he calls by her real name, just going to show that he couldn't have possibly been her friend given her strong separation of her two lives) and that this was a plan the two of them cooked up, but he cannot spill the details because it would be against her wishes. He is now blaming all of the people that are flaming him for misunderstanding the situation. Uh huh...way to dig the hole deeper you jackass.
So is anyone else having thoughts of what to do with their journal when they die? O_o
Update Jr.
The asshole has made a public...well, I can't call it an apology really. It's more like a cry of martyrdom than anything else.
