forchancookieI went to Mechacon today. I forgot that it was coming up. Luckily, I had today off and went over to enjoy the shopping....yeah, that's it. That's all I did there. I did take a few photos though. I rarely take photos at cons, but I got a few this time. So let's take a look!
I also got Andrew a shirt that says "I'd rather be playing World of Warcraft" since his birthday is tomorrow. I also so this shirt that made me think of Dark. XD
Let's see, there was only one dealer with a a box of doujin and I didn't feel like digging through them. Though I did see a xxxHolic one, I just didn't want it. I saw only one Sgt. Frog plushie and it wasn't of Sgt. Frog, so my mom wouldn't have wanted it. I really need to find a copy of the anime to make her watch XD I did see a giant size version of Naruto's frog change purse, but it was $30. I might get him eventually...since I have every size of them, but not today.
I wore my "It's Not Love, but It's a Blast" shirt that Dae made for me and I got compliments as usual. =D And that's about it really. I didn't see a single Gurren Lagann item and yet again, I was super disappointed. When will I find a Boota plushie or a core drill or anything really? I demand Gurren Lagann items! And also, Hilton, if you are going to host a convention A) you need more parking space and B) you need better air conditioning. Louisiana is hot enough as it is without shoving a couple hundred sweaty, possibly smelly, fans into a confined space. The fans were ok, but ineffective.
Anyway, I'm done complaining. I still had a nice enough time and I got some cute stuff. Also, looks like a new con is coming to Louisiana. Louisianime will take place in Baton Rouge next May. I'll probably go ^_^ It's only an hour away. I can crash at Brian's place and maybe I can drag Sancy along =D And now I'm going to play with Niku because she keeps throwing toys at me and does not appreciate being ignored!

| Jet Black Again He was so awesome that I asked him for a photo. I never ask for photos. Most of the people there weren't worth it. But he was and he was very nice about it. ^_^ |

| My Haul I got the cute Nyanko bubble tea shirt, the blueberry pocky and some red bean mochi from Wizzywigs. I got some ramune too, but that's in the fridge. I found the only Nyanko plushie in the whole place at the stall across from them. It's a nyanko backpack plushie. =D |
